The Mirasol project is based on Fair Trade. This guarantees that producers in the developing world get a better deal for their products. This fabulously sumptuous yarn is quick to knit and superb to handle. With a tension of 18 sts and 24 rows to 10cm, it will knit to standard Aran patterns and there is also superb pattern support in The Mirasol Collection Book One by Jane Ellison. Miski is available in ten gorgeous shades and the knitted sample is shown in shade 104.

This luxuriously soft merino yarn is produced by Swedish designer Biggan Dups who now lives in Australia. She has created the beautiful harmonised palette of 64 shades to inspire knitters. These shades will always be kept in stock as a standard range. The knitted sample is shown in shade 955 Hot Pink. This wonderful yarn is so soft, you can wear it next to your skin and it has superb elasticity, making it fun and easy to knit with. First Cross Merino DK has a tension of 22 sts and 29 rows using 4mm needles and will knit to all standard DK patterns. It is machine washable on a gentle 30 degree cycle and keeps its shape without pilling.

Silky Kidd is a DK-weight silk and merino yarn with kid mohair, known for its silky softness and luxurious feel. This lustrous blend has a nylon binder to give it strength and is made up of a twist of two strands in different shades, knitting to a tension of 20 sts to 10cm. It makes fabulous shawls and wraps, but it can also be used for sweaters and cardigans and pattern support is available too. There are 33 eye-catching, hand-dyed shades in the range and the knitted sample is shown in Wild Cherry.
